The Terms of Reference for individual committees can be found on their individual pages under Council Minutes and Agendas.

Councillors also belong to Working Groups. These groups are formed to deliver projects around the parish and always have participation from the community.  When projects are started the council invites interested groups and individuals to participate.  This helps us to be sure we deliver what the community wants. The current list of working groups is shownbelow.

Working Group Brief Description

Bury Green Triangle (Incl. District in Bloom) To plan and deliver a new garden in the triangle of land owned by the parish council on the corner of Bury Green and Old Rectory Gardens. Also, to oversee our entry in District in Bloom.
Crinkle-Crankle Garden This is a new group that will be responsible for developing the garden as a village amenity over the next few years.
East Lane Car Park To plan the extension to the car park and oversee general maintenance.
Facilities Management This group primarily looks after sports facilities around the parish including conditions and terms of use, and maintenance.
Memorial Hall Management This group oversees the day-to-day management of the hall including fees and general maintenance.
Memorial Hall Refurbishment To plan and oversee the modernisation of the Memorial Hall.  This is a medium term project.
Pump To edit, print and distribute 4 issues of the Pump magazine each year.
Station Platform On-going development and maintenance of the Station Platform site and Railway Sidings.
Village Weekend Plan, organise and deliver Village Weekend within a fixed budget
Village Plan (Neighbourhood Plan) The focus of this group has moved from producing a village plan to delivering a Neighbourhood Plan. This project is only just getting underway and more information will be made available on the web site.
