Your Council

Wheathampstead Parish Council is comprised of twelve councillors elected every four years. The next election is in May 2019. The council is supported by one full-time member of staff, Julia Warren (Clerk to the Council), and three part-time members: TBC - see vacancies page (Finance Officer/Assistant Clerk), Ellie Metherell (Events & Communications Administrator) and Richard Dolling (Caretaker). 

By following the items in the "Your Council" menu above you can obtain information on all aspects of the council including its business plan, committee structure, minutes and agendas. The council also works closely with the community to form working groups to manage projects. These Working Groups are comprised of councillors and non-councillors. For a list of working groups see the "Your Councillors" page

You can also find information on regular events, such as Village Weekend, copies of our newsletters and reference documents.

Full Council meets at 8pm on the last Thursday of every month (except December) preceded by Planning Committee at 7.30pm in the Hewitt Room at the Memorial Hall.  Everyone is welcome.

Please join us at the Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday 20 May 2019 at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall.
