Volunteer run group for babies to 4-year olds, including free play, crafts, snack, ride-ons and singing. A great chance to meet other mothers, fathers and carers in the village. Entry fee is £3 per child and 50p per additional child.

Top Hat Stage School

Performing arts school for children and young adults aged 4 to 15 years of age. Students attend a 2-hour session, drama, singing and dance. Top Hat is far more than just a stage school - it is a place where children and teenagers aged 6 - 17 can meet every week and socialize together whilst discovering new talents. You are very welcome to bring your child for a free trial.

Our village has a rich local history and heritage. We arrange a programme of talks, meetings and outings for members, produce a monthly bulletin, prepare displays and talks for other societies, and encourage local people to do their own research. Annual subscription: £8; £12 for couples.

Hardy Plant Society

The Hertfordshire Group of the Hardy Plant Society meet at the Memorial Hall for illustrated talks, a plant stall, and refreshments with homemade cakes. We welcome anyone interested in plants or gardening. Over the summer we have visits to members' gardens and a coach trip.
